MILLCREEK — City leaders, who are in the process of creating the city’s first general plan, are asking youths 12 and older to share their vision for the city’s future during a workshop at 4 p.m. Friday.
The 90-minute session will be held in the city offices, 3330 S. 1300 East. During the meeting, participants can offer their input about the needs and concerns of those who will be living and working in Millcreek in the future.
According to city leaders, the general plan will set out goals, policies and strategies for a wide range of issues relating to the growth of the city, land use and urban design, housing, economic development, commercial development, public improvements, transportation, human services, culture and education, environmental quality, parks and open spaces.
