Mark Roia, a field technician for the Salt Lake County Watershed Planning and Restoration Program, moves Christmas trees into place during a revetment project on the Jordan River at the Murray Nature Center in Taylorsville on Wednesday. The revetment project used recycled Christmas trees to reinforce and protect banks along the Jordan River from erosion.
