Maybe like a lot of people with a drinking problem, Tommy Lee didn’t take too kindly to his son Brandon Lee calling him out on this particular issue Wednesday as the 21-year-old sought to explain what sparked a brawl between the two.

In fact, Lee went “nuclear” in reaction to his son issuing a statement Wednesday, blaming the brawl on his father’s “alcoholism,” TMZ reported.
The Motley Crue drummer took to Twitter to deny that his having “a few drinks here and there” constitutes a problem and to accuse his son of trying to cover for his own bad behavior. Lee also vowed to press charges against his son and to get a restraining order against him, TMZ said.
Brandon Lee, a model whose mother is former “Baywatch” star Pamela Anderson, issued his statement to People. He said, “I’m devastated at the events of the last several days that have been a result of my father’s alcoholism. I’ve worked tirelessly organizing an intervention and it’s incredibly upsetting that it never came to fruition.”
As has been reported, police were called to Lee’s home in Calabasas Monday night and Lee was transported to a hospital. Lee claimed on Twitter that Brandon, who is living part-time at his home, burst into his bedroom, punched him in the face and knocked him unconscious.

In a 911 call obtained TMZ and The Blast, Lee’s fiancee Brittany Furlan said a fight had broken out between the two, but she didn’t say who started it. She also warned dispatchers that Brandon had guns in the house and said Lee was unconscious.
“He’s like totally out,” she said at one point. “Like a light.”
Sources close to Brandon told TMZ that Brandon acted in self-defense and that the father and son were arguing over a tweet Lee posted, slamming Anderson for talking about Lee’s 1998 domestic violence arrest during an interview.
Lee apparently wasn’t happy that his ex-wife Anderson revisited her domestic violence claims, which resulted in Lee serving six months in jail, Page Six said. Lee’s arrest came at the end of their tumultuous three-year marriage. The two are parents of another …read more
