The former Barenaked Ladies frontman is the current RBC Master in Residence. In the latter capacity, he has been working with emerging songwriters. Saturday: Megan Bonnell & Leeroy Stagger

Thursday and Friday: Bob Dylan’s 11th Annual Birthday Bash

The Ironwood’s celebration of the troubadour is only 11; the man himself is turning just a bit older (78, in fact). Hear local roots and folk musicians celebrate the legend over two nights. Thursday: Bach & Telemann

The Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra begins its annual Bach @ Knox celebration by pairing him with oft overshadowed close friend and colleague Georg Philipp Telemann.
