Much Ado About Nothing presented by The Shakespeare Company at Vertigo Theatre (Until Saturday, June 2)

Shakespeare can be intimidating, but audiences shouldn’t fear Much Ado About Nothing. “I think it’s one of the most accessible plays he wrote,” Myla Southward, who plays Beatrice, tells Josiah Hughes in an interview for Swerve. “It’s a rom-com, and everybody understands a good rom-com. I think it’s a timeless message of love and men and women and being hurt.” Tickets are $25 to $35 and there’s still some available for shows Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

The annual dress-and-cycle event takes you from Village Ice Cream to the Oak Tree Tavern.
