The temperature is dropping, as Calgary’s forecast looks to be in for a bout of rain.
According to Environment Canada, Thursday Calgarians can expect five to 10 mm of showers, with a risk of a thunderstorm. Rain is seeing the temperature drop, as a high of 14 C is expected, and cloudy skies make for a UV index 3, or moderate. Wind speeds are expected to reach as high as 50 km/h in the morning.
A 30 per cent chance of further rain is anticipated for early evening, with another risk of thunderstorm. The temperature is expected to hit a low of 8 C.
Thursday’s forecast appears to be just the start for a rainy period in Calgary, which Environment Canada predicts will last through Sunday.
