In my 38 years of involvement with the City of Calgary, I have never been more disappointed with city council than I was last week during the council hearing for the Guidebook for Great Communities. More than 130 Calgarians rose at the public hearing to express their opinions about the ramifications of the guidebook; these were owners, landlords and tenants.
