An aircraft crashed into a home in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, on Tuesday night and killed four people, police said.
Hattiesburg Police Department said on Wednesday that “a civilian aircraft had crashed into a home” at around 11:20 p.m. on Tuesday.
The Hattiesburg PD public information officer Ryan Moore told local news outlet WDAM 7 on that four people were dead after the crash.
Police said “The Federal Aviation Administration has been contacted to handle the investigation.”
Moore said that the National Transportation Safety Board was also going to the scene on Annie Christie Drive.
Police also said that people should not touch and debris or wreckage that they think is related to the crash.
