A reverse 911 went out to residents Monday evening near the 400 block of North Oswego Street, Aurora police tweeted, saying the individual may be armed.

“If you live in the area, please stay inside and away from your windows,” police tweeted.

Around 7 p.m., police said negotiators were on the phone with the suspect.

#APDAlert multiple officers are in the area of 400 N Oswego St. A suspect wanted for Homicide is inside a home in the area. SWAT is on scene working toward a safe resolution.
