Chase unveiled the new 5x bonus categories for Q4 2022 on the Chase Freedom Flex℠ and Chase Freedom® (no longer available to new applicants) cards. From October 1 to December 31, 2022, cardholders can earn 5% back on the first $1,500 spent in combined purchases at Walmart and with PayPal (then 1%) after activation. These categories are ideal for holiday shopping, and because PayPal is accepted by most major merchants online, it should be easy to maximize this bonus.
