Denverites woke up to a chilly morning, after an overnight cold front moved in. Temperatures were in the 20s overnight but the sun will warm up the Front Range to a high of 48 degrees.

Light winds up to 10 mph will help clouds move in throughout the day. There will be scattered snow showers over the far northern mountains today.

Tonight, fog will roll in mainly after 2 a.m., bringing a chance of freezing rain after 2 a.m. The low will drop to 25 degrees. The rain will turn into freezing drizzle before 10 a.m. The chance of precipitation in Denver is around 30%.

The National Weather Service in Boulder has issued a Hazardous Weather Outlook for most of the Front Range as freezing rain and drizzle could cause ice on roads, impacting travel.
