
Police arrested a man on suspicion of “several felony charges” after a woman was shot and killed Monday night on Eastgate Drive in Daly City, according to authorities.
The 27-year-old victim was shot multiple times at about 7:35 p.m. Monday and was pronounced dead at the scene, according to a news release from the Daly City Police Department. She was later identified as Frances Lucero of Daly City.
The suspect, a 27-year-old Daly City male, was later booked into San Mateo County Main Jail. Authorities did not release the suspect’s identity.
