ANTIOCH — A 29-year-old man was in county jail earlier this week after his arrest on suspicion of charges in connection with a pair of weekend shootings, including one that left a victim in stable condition at a hospital, authorities said.
In a statement Wednesday, police said dispatchers received a call shortly before 4:40 a.m. Saturday about a possible shooting victim at an East Sixth Street location.
When officers responded and arrived, they found a man suffering from a gunshot wound to his arm. First responders took the man to a hospital for treatment, where he was later listed in stable condition. Other officers later found a crime scene near East 18th and A streets they believed to be linked to that shooting, police said.
